Unlike the previous CD Projekt Red title, Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077 can only be played in the first-person mode. However, some Cyberpunk 2077 fans want to experience Night City in third-person mode. Of course, there’s no way the developer will officially release a third-person mode for the game.
But as it turns out, one of the Cyberpunk 2077 mods lets you experience Cyberpunk 2077 in a third-person view, which is great. If you want to experience Cyberpunk 2077 differently, go ahead and read the entire article.
Cyberpunk 2077 Third-Person Perspective
There’s no denying that Cyberpunk 2077 looks absolutely gorgeous from a first-person perspective. However, that hasn’t stopped video game enthusiasts from looking for new ways to enjoy the game. When playing Cyberpunk 2077 on FPP, most players wonder what the game would be like from a third-person perspective. Well, here is your answer.
Note: that Cyberpunk 2077 third-person mod is still a work in progress. So, you are bound to experience some weird body movements or other distractions after you install the mod.
Follow the steps below to install Cyberpunk 2077 3rd-person mod:
1. First, download and install the Cheat Engine.
Note: Make sure to whitelist the Cheat Engine of your Antivirus before installing.
2. Now download Cyber Engine Tweaks and TPP Mod.
3. Extract the Cyber Engine Tweaks files and paste them in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64
Note: If you didn’t install Cyberpunk 2077 on Steam, then paste the files to ‘Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64’ for other versions.
4. Next, extract TPP mod files and add the Cheat table in the Cheat Engine.
5. Run Cyberpunk 2077 and then add the ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ process in the Cheat Engine.
6. Go back to the game and press the ‘~’ key to access the Console command.
7. There are different console commands for Male/Female characters. Use this command accordingly:
Game.AddToInventory(“Items.PlayerWaPhotomodeHead”,1) Game.EquipItemOnPlayer(“Items.PlayerWaPhotomodeHead”, “TppHead”)
Game.AddToInventory(“Items.PlayerMaPhotomodeHead”,1) Game.EquipItemOnPlayer(“Items.PlayerMaPhotomodeHead”, “TppHead”)
Note: Use both commands in the same order.
That’s it; Now press NUM 5 to launch Cyberpunk 2077 third-person view mode. It is possible that the TPP mod won’t work in the game files you saved previously. So, to enjoy the third-person look of Cyberpunk 2077, you might have to start a new game.
